🕹️ How to play

1. How to set up the telepathy test: Pick a relationship pack (couple, bestie, friends or family) and how many questions (5, 7 or 10). Each pack has its own questions; add optional nicknames that stay only on your device.
2. How to answer without peeking: Each round, both players answer in turn. Hand the phone to Player A to secretly tap one option and confirm, then pass to Player B to do the same. A three-step cover screen hides the question until it's your turn and never shows the other's pick before the reveal.
3. How the reveal works: Once both have answered, reveal together: two cards flip to show each pick. Same option lights up green for a match (+1); different picks show a red cross. Rounds reveal one at a time with a live match count up top.
4. How your compatibility score is calculated: After the last question, your telepathy score is matches ÷ total questions as a percentage, with a tier verdict (soulmates, super in sync, getting there, room to grow). The results screen also lists every round so you can see where you clicked.

📖 Rules & variants

Players and scoring: it's a two-player test on one shared phone. There's no individual winner — the telepathy score is shared, so a mismatch never blames either person.

Answering: each round both players secretly pick one option (A first, then B). Multiple choice means matches are judged objectively — same option = a match, no self-rating or arguments. You can't confirm without a selection, so no blank answers slip through.

Score: telepathy = matches ÷ total questions × 100%, rounded. 90+ is soulmates, 70–89 super in sync, 40–69 getting there, under 40 room to grow. It's a party verdict for fun, not a scientific measure.

Packs and levels: questions come in couple, bestie, friend and family packs, plus a spicy set that's locked by default (flirty couple/party themed, mildly suggestive) and unlocks after an 18+ confirmation. Questions are drawn at random with no near-term repeats and none repeat within one game.

House rules: for a missed round you can agree the off player takes a drink or you both do a small dare (spoken rule, not built in); or switch to a 'guess what they'd pick' variant for extra challenge. Games in progress aren't saved to your browser, so a refresh restarts the round while your setup and records stay.
