💌 Couples Quiz: How Well Do You Know Me?
A pass-the-phone couples quiz: one of you secretly answers about yourself, the other guesses, then you flip both cards together and see who knows who better.
🕹️ How to play
- Enter nicknames and start: Both nickname boxes are optional (Player A / Player B by default). Tap Start and question 1 opens right away. A game is 10 questions; More settings lets you switch to 6 or 14, turn write-in questions off or choose who answers first.
- The answerer locks in a real answer and hands over the phone: When the banner says it's your turn to answer about yourself, pick what's really true and lock it in. The screen is covered instantly and your answer leaves the page, so you can pass the phone without giving anything away.
- Your partner guesses, then you flip together: The guesser sees the question about you ("What would Sam do first on a surprise day off?"), locks in a guess, and you both tap Flip. Same card means a point for the guesser; a miss comes with a follow-up prompt to talk about.
- Swap roles each question and compare at the end: Whoever guessed last answers next, so the phone only changes hands once per question. At the end you get a playful title, a score for each direction and a tonight's topic picked from the questions you missed. Play again deals fresh questions and swaps who starts.
📖 Rules & variants
How scoring works in this couples quiz: players take turns answering and guessing, so each of you guesses the same number of times. A multiple-choice question counts as guessed when both picks match, and the guesser earns one point. Results are shown both ways, how well A knows B and how well B knows A, instead of a single compatibility percentage.
The question pack: the English version has 95 original questions, everyday topics across habits, food, memories, what-ifs and feelings, plus 15 intimate questions that stay locked by default. The first two questions of every game are easy warm-ups, no topic crowds a game, and nothing assumes gender, marriage or how long you have been together. Questions you have not played yet come up first.
Write-in questions: two per game by default. Both players type a few keywords, the answers appear side by side after the flip, and the answerer decides whether the guess counts. There is no automatic matching, because only the two of you know whether "tacos" and "taco night" are the same answer.
Swapping and intimate questions: the answerer can swap a question before locking in, with no penalty and no hint of what was skipped. Intimate questions only appear after both players confirm they are 18 or older; they are mild and flirty, never explicit, and always multiple choice.
House rules: the titles are all playful, from Mind Readers to Mystery Duo, and a low score just means there is more to talk about. Popular house rules are that whoever knows less answers tonight's topic, or that a wrong guess earns a short story about the real answer.
