Spin the karaoke wheel for your next song: The wheel is loaded the moment the page opens — twelve themes, no setup. Hit Spin and it lands on an era or a style, like 90s classics or up-tempo. Pick any song you know inside that lane.
Set the karaoke rotation for your group: Tap “Add singers · start a round”, type 2 to 12 names, then start the round. The order is shuffled once and shown on screen: one song per singer, and it only reshuffles after everybody has had a turn.
Reroll or pass when the theme doesn't fit you: The result card gives three equal choices: lock it in, reroll, or pass. Each singer gets one reroll per round and it comes with a rule that helps — two keys down, grab a duet partner, or chorus only. Passing costs nothing at all.
Cheer the singer and move the mic on: Tap “Done singing” and a five second cheer window opens: everyone hammers the big pad and the counter runs live. When it closes the cheers are banked to that singer in one go and the next name lights up.

📖 Rules & variants

The wheel picks a lane, not a track. Landing on “90s classics” means: sing anything you like from the 90s. There are no lyrics, no backing tracks and no setlists here — keep using your karaoke machine or music app for those.

There are 24 themes in the pool (6 eras, 10 styles and moods, 8 challenges) and the wheel holds 12 of them. A theme you actually sing is removed from the wheel, so nothing repeats within a lap; only after all 24 have come up does the page say so out loud and start a fresh lap.

A round runs in a fixed order: shuffle the visible queue, the singer at the front spins, they get 45 seconds to lock in / reroll / pass, they sing, the table cheers for five seconds, and the mic moves on. When the queue is done you get a recap; “Next round” reshuffles the order and resets cheers and rerolls, while the wheel keeps eliminating themes.

The countdown has four settings — off, 30, 45 and 60 seconds — and defaults to 45. Running out of time is not a failure: the card turns into a fallback that defaults to a whole-table singalong (you can switch it to “next singer” in settings), and you can still lock in and sing it yourself.

House variants worth trying: an all-decades night (switch the wheel to eras only), a duet night (drop the countdown to 30 seconds and the fallback singalong fires often), and a zero-pressure setting (countdown off, the wheel is just a way to narrow things down). You can also write 2 to 24 custom themes of up to 10 characters — they stay on your device.

How does the karaoke song wheel work?

How do you keep karaoke turns fair in a group?

Does this karaoke wheel play music or show lyrics?

No, and it never will. It only decides which lane you sing in; the backing track and the words come from your karaoke machine. That keeps it legal and keeps the choice with the people in the room.
