Play the buzz counting game online: numbers appear one by one, say pass on every seven, and one wrong tap ends the run — with a shrinking timer that judges you instantly.
Core rules: players count 1, 2, 3 out loud and must never say a 'seven' number — they say buzz (or pass) instead. This online version turns that into a two-button judgement: the app deals the numbers, you tap PASS or SAY IT, and every call is judged by the machine, so nobody argues about who slipped.
The three rule variants: the classic default treats both numbers containing the digit 7 (7, 17, 27, 70–79…) and multiples of 7 (14, 21, 28, 35…) as buzz numbers. House variants that count only the digit or only the multiples are one tap away, and the tutorial cards re-judge themselves the moment you switch, so the difference is visible rather than described.
Buzz numbers from 1 to 100 (default rule): 7, 14, 17, 21, 27, 28, 35, 37, 42, 47, 49, 56, 57, 63, 67, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 84, 87, 91, 97 and 98 — thirty numbers in total. The whole 70s decade is a buzz, which is where most live games fall apart.
Timing and scoring: every number gets its own countdown. Standard starts at 3 seconds and loses 30ms per number down to a 1.2s floor; relaxed runs 4s down to 2s and extreme 2s down to 0.7s. A wrong tap or an expired timer ends the run. The score is the number of calls you passed; the number you stopped on is shown for context only, and 999 straight is a clear.
Records and the four runs that never count: best scores are kept per rule × speed (nine buckets) in your browser only, never uploaded. Contest runs, random-start runs, practice runs and runs interrupted by leaving the tab are not recorded — a yellow note says so before you start, never after you finish.
House variants: a random start (a number drawn between 2 and 20) stops veterans from memorising the sequence. Table rules such as reversing direction after a buzz, or double-buzzing on 77, stay verbal — the app only judges the number in front of you. Some groups also let the loser start the next round; house rules differ, so play it your way.
⚠️ Entertainment only — ratings and scores are not a measure of ability. The optional penalty deck includes a drink card; if you play with alcohol, please drink responsibly. Not for minors.
