🕹️ How to play

  1. Tap any bubble: Press a bubble and it pops instantly with a snap, flattens and throws a few plastic flakes; the Now and All-time counters both go up by one. On a computer, click, or Tab to a bubble and press Space.
  2. Hold and swipe to pop a row: Keep your finger down and slide: every bubble you cross pops, even on a fast swipe. Pop five or more in quick succession for a streak badge, and the pitch climbs as you go. A full sheet of 50 shows its time and a new sheet arrives within a second.
  3. Take the 60-second challenge: Tap “60 s challenge”; the clock starts on your first pop. Finished sheets swap automatically, and when time runs out a result card compares the run with your best. “Quit challenge” takes you back to free popping at any time.

📖 Rules & variants

This is a relaxing bubble wrap popping toy, not a match-3 shooter: no levels, no losing. If you were looking for a bubble shooter, there is one in our casual games. The page opens straight on a 50-bubble sheet — no menus, no start button.

Hits: the bubble under your finger pops on touch-down. While you hold and slide, any bubble within half a bubble of your path pops, so even one quick swipe across a row catches every bubble. Each pops only once; pressing a flat one just squishes it, silently. Starting a press outside the sheet and sliding in does not count.

New sheets: clear all 50 and the sheet shows “50 popped · N s”, then a fresh one slides in after one second, cycling ice blue, mint and pink. “New sheet” swaps at any time and keeps your popped count. After a reload you return to the same half-popped sheet, but its time no longer counts toward your fastest sheet.

60-second challenge: the countdown starts on the first pop, the 0.4 s sheet swap shows “New sheet…”, and pops after the buzzer never count. Beat your best for a new record; matching it shows a tie. Switching apps pauses the run until you tap Resume.

Example: press the top-left bubble and slide along the first row without lifting — all six pop and the streak badge shows ×6. Pause for more than 0.3 s and the streak starts again from one.

Tips: swipe along a row for the shortest path, alternate two fingers for speed, and lift during the sheet swap so your next press lands on the new first row. Practised players clear 250+ in 60 seconds.

Sound and vibration: every pop is a synthesised snap with four random variations, rising in pitch on fast streaks; the Sound button mutes it. A Vibrate toggle appears only in browsers that support web vibration (some Android browsers); iPhone browsers don't, so the squish and flakes stand in. Your stats stay in this browser.

Example: pop 6 in one swipe

Press the top-left bubble, keep your finger down and slide to the end of the row — all 6 bubbles you cross pop, however fast you swipe.

❓ FAQ

Does online bubble wrap ever run out?
No — when you pop all 50 bubbles a new sheet slides in within a second, so it never ends. You can also tap “New sheet” halfway through; the bubbles you already popped still count toward your all-time total.
Why doesn't my phone vibrate when I pop the bubble wrap?
Web vibration only works in some Android browsers, and iPhone browsers don't support it at all. On iPhone the Vibrate toggle is hidden and the bubble squish, flakes and a tiny shake give the feedback instead; on Android Chrome you can switch vibration on or off.
How do you pop a whole row of bubble wrap at once?
Hold your finger down and swipe across the row: every bubble along the path pops, even if you move fast. Five or more pops in quick succession show a streak badge, and the snap gets higher the faster you go.
How many bubbles can you pop in 60 seconds?
There's no cap — it comes down to speed and route. Most people manage 120–180 on a first run; swiping rows with two alternating fingers gets past 250. The result card shows pops per second and whether you set a new best.
Why is popping bubble wrap so satisfying?
It's a tiny action with an instant, certain payoff: a crisp snap and a visible change every time, with nothing to think about and no way to fail. That loop of small rewards is why a sheet makes a good 20-second break.
Why is there no sound when I pop bubble wrap online?
Check for the “Muted” pill above the sheet and tap Sound to turn it back on. On iPhone the side silent switch also mutes web audio, and browsers only allow sound after your first pop.
